2 This is the story of Little Green ...

3 Little Green has a dad and a mom like all the little children. Little Green loves his Daddy Blue very much. He also loves his Mommy Yellow very much. His dad and mom love him very much too. At home, everything is for the best.

4 However … as for play time … things did not go well …

5 … not at all! Dad and mom are really worried.

One day, Little Green rolls himself up into a ball and becomes red with anger. "I've had enough! He said, I’m leaving!" 6

7 He rolls, and rolls … and the more he rolls, the more his anger calms down.

2 He arrives on the bank of a river. “What am I going to do?” he wonders.

9 He transforms into a boat … and sails away down the river.

10 He arrives at the sea. He discovers many other boats, big ones, little ones which are sailing like him.

11 "This is where I want to stay!" He says.

12 Looking up at the sky, he sees birds flying away. A bunch of birds, big ones, little ones, red ones, blue ones … birds of all colors.

13 “Where are they going? How I would love to go with them.”

He transforms into a bird and joins them. 14

15 and the more he flies, the more he marvels at what he sees around him. He flies, and flies …

16 He thus arrives at the country of flowers. There are flowers everywhere, big ones, little ones, flowers of all colors.

17 “How beautiful they are! But I would crush them”, he says.

18 He transforms straight away into a butterfly and alights delicately on a splendid flower.

19 "What a beautiful and calm place, he says. How I would like to stay here …

20 But I'm all alone. I miss my parents."

21 Daddy Blue and Mommy Yellow are very happy to find their Little Green back home. He grew so much that they even have a hard time recognizing him.

22 "Come with me ..."
